Taxapad 2012 (Yu et al. 2012) only lists three species of Microgastrinae for French Guiana (FG). The actual diversity is, however, extraordinary, and FG may end as one of the world areas with higher numbers of microgastrine wasps.
Recent collecting in FG has provided a significant amount of material being studied at present. Below is a preliminary list of species for FG. A few are already described, while the rest are provisional morphospecies part of current research (numbers will be updated periodically).

Genus Alphomelon. First record of the genus for French Guiana.
- Alphomelon sp. 1. 1 specimen from Saul, 2.ix.2010 (no further data).
- Alphomelon sp. 2. 1 specimen from Saul, 5.xi.2010 (no further data).
Genus Cuneogaster. First record of the genus for French Guiana. Three species found, at least two of them new. This genus was only know from one species (Colombia, Panama, Venezuela).
- Cuneogaster sp. 1. 5 specimens from Saul, Crique Popote, Mont Belvedere, MT, 22-30.vi.2000, xii.2000, i.2000. 1 specimen from Saul, 8.ix.2010 (no further data).
- Cuneogaster sp. 2. 2 specimens from Saul, 26.vii.2010 and 5.xi.2010 (no further data).
- Cuneogaster sp. 3. 1 specimen from Saul, Mont Galbao, 670m, MT, 24.vi-6.vii.2000.
Genus Hypomicrogaster. First record of the genus for French Guiana. Three species found, most likely all are new species.
- Hypomicrogaster sp. 1. 3 specimens from Saul, 26.vii.2010 and 8.ix.2010 (no further data).
- Hypomicrogaster sp. 2. 2 specimens from Saul, 26.vii.2010 (no further data).

Genus Microplitis. First record of the genus for French Guiana. Most likely a new species.

Genus Promicrogaster. First record of the genus for French Guiana. Most likely both are new species.
- Promicrogaster sp. 1. 1 specimen from Saul, Crique Popote, MT, 22-30.vi.2000, 1 specimens from Saul, Crique Popote, Mont Belvedere, MT, xii.2000, 1 specimen from Saul, 26.vii.2010 (no further data).
- Promicrogaster sp. 2. 2 specimens from Saul, 26.vii.2010 and 29.ix.2010 (no further data).
Genus Pseudapanteles. First record of the genus for French Guiana (henceforward abbreviated as FG). Five species found, most likely all of them new.
- Pseudapanteles sp. 1. 7 specimens from Saul, Crique Popote, Mont Belvedere, Malaise Trap (henceforward abbreviated as MT), collecting dates 1-13.xii.2000 and i.2001. And 1 specimen from Saul, Mont Galbao, 670m, MT, 24.vi-6.vii.2000.

- Pseudapanteles sp. 3. 1 specimen from Saul, Montagne Belvedere, 11.2011, MT.

Genus Snellenius. First record of the genus for French Guiana. Most likely both are new species.
