Dolichogenidea soikai

General description:

The following are unpublished notes taken by Jose Fernandez-Triana after studying one male specimen (from Niederosterreich -Germany/Austria?) deposited in the Naturhistorisches Museum of Vienna, Austria.

Scutellar lunules semicircular (~ half of lateral face height), scutellum mostly polished, scutellar sulcus thin and with many ridges. Propodeum mostly polished, with areola only defined by nucha rugosity. Tergite 1 arched, with a broad depression basally, mostly smooth, ~2.0 x as long as wide. Mostly black, including dark brown tegula.Need to study a better specimen (if possible female) before concluding about this species.
